Safety and Support Program aims to minimize the negative consequences associated with substance use by providing practical strategies to decrease risk. Diseases like HIV or hepatitis C can be spread when people who use injection drugs share needles or other equipment. This program provides new, sterile needles and equipment to people who use injection drugs, and provides connections to drug treatment, disease testing, vaccines, and other social services.
Supports young people ages 21 and under with vision loss by preparing them for successful futures by providing workshops, programs, and activities geared towards teaching age-appropriate skills of blindness, self-advocacy, orientation and mobility, and educational and career exploration.
Reunites runaway, homeless and exploited youth (ages 12-21) with their family or legal guardian or helps them get to an alternative living arrangement (ALA), such as a community-based transitional living program, through a free bus ticket.
