Confidential help for Veterans, service members, and their families at no cost in a non-medical setting. Services include counseling for needs such as depression, post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and the psychological effects of military sexual trauma (MST). Referrals to other community and VA support services also provided.

Connects Veterans in crisis and their families and friends with qualified, caring Department of Veterans Affairs responders through a confidential toll-free hotline, online chat, or text. Veterans and their loved ones can dial 988 and then Press 1, chat online, or send a text message to 838255 to receive confidential support. Support for deaf and hard of hearing individuals is available.

Social workers are able to help Veterans, families and caregivers with almost any need, from help with finances or housing to questions about treatment to just feeling overwhelmed.
Counseling and other support for Veterans struggling with issues like PTSD, depression, grief, anger or trauma. All VA health care facilities offer same-day help. You may qualify even without enrolling in VA health care.

Protective payee services for veterans and family members who are incapable of managing their own financial affairs.
When soldiers return home it can be difficult to truly reconnect with relationships and establish themselves financially. This program is geared toward helping members of the military and veterans re-establish themselves and achieve financial stability.
The Red Cross assists military families in communicating with loved ones in an emergency, deployment assistance, and emergency financial assistance.
