Adaptive riding lessons are taught by PATH International certified instructors. Lesson plans take into account the participant's physical, emotional, and mental strengths and limitations. Classes include arena riding, trail rides, and group activities.
Local youth development clubs to grow physical, mental, and emotional health. Clubs participate in a wide variety of activities, often focused on nature, farming, science, and culture.

The Bellingham Public Library has partnered with the Whatcom Museum, the Spark Museum of Electrical Invention, and Mindport Exhibits to offer complimentary general admission to each museum. A Museum Pass allows free entry for up to 4 people, valid for use on the date and at the museum selected when registering. Each family is eligible for a pass for each museum every 60 days. A variety of outdoor and academic programs that operate seasonally throughout the year. Activities include biking, climbing, swimming, hiking, snowboarding, and kayaking when seasonally appropriate. Partnership between CBC and Shifting Gears for weekly all women sunset paddle.
An after school program that connects kids with the outdoors through exploration, play, art, and nature activities. Available for grades K-5.
Designed for children ages 0-6 and their adult(s). Wild Things is a place-based community program that visits local parks each month to see what nature has to offer.
Max Higbee Center members are paired with a Recreation Leader to receive one-on-one support to create an individualized, goal-oriented and community-based recreation experience. This service is highly flexible and allows for people to schedule sessions that are tailored and designed based on short-term and long-term goals.

Grants Little Wishes to children ages 6 to 18 for ongoing support of lessons and activities including, but not limited to, art lessons, music lessons, martial arts, team sports, swimming lessons, dance, gymnastics, ice skating, ice hockey, horseback riding, and soccer.​
Nature program by and for people of color to build community while spending time outdoors. Outings are facilitated by BIPOC leaders and are family-friendly.
Summer camp for LGBTQ+ youth ages 13-18. Get to know horsemanship activities like grooming, leading, and riding, participate in creative arts & crafts, playtime & learning with small farm animals, and more. LGBTQ+ staff and mentors will create a fun and empowering space for youth to make new friends, develop farm skills, and increase self-confidence.

Grants Little Wishes to children ages 6 to 18 for support of school trip fees, summer camp enrollment fees, bicycle and helmet, special needs equipment, tutoring, computers, school related supplies, sports fees and/or uniforms, cleats, and other items.
Members engage in a variety of activities and community excursions. Programs include YMCA workouts, cooking classes, hikes, sports, library visits, art projects and much more. Alternative activities are always provided.
