Landlord Damage Relief Program - Washington State Department of Commerce

Provides Washington landlords with an incentive and added security to work with tenants receiving rental assistance. The program offers up to $1,000 and up to fourteen days’ rent loss to the landlord in reimbursement for some potentially required move-in upgrades, and up to $5,000 in qualifying damages caused by a tenant during tenancy.

Homebuyer Education Class - Washington State Housing Finance Commission

These multi-hour free classes cover the homebuying process from the very beginning to move-in. Upon completion participants earn a certificate from the Washington State Housing Finance Commission. The certificate allows you to take advantage of special loan products and is a requirement for any of the WSHFC’s affordable loan products.
