Enrollment in Project Lifesaver includes equipment maintenance, battery changes, and upfront equipment costs. This program is for anyone who might have a tendency to wander, but who might not have the ability to find their way home again including people with dementia, autism, Down's syndrome, and traumatic brain injuries.

If you cannot afford to purchase smoke alarms or are physically unable to install a smoke alarm, the Red Cross may be able to help by installing free smoke alarms in homes and educating communities about home fire safety.
