In-home services include housework and laundry, bathing and personal hygiene, toileting, eating and/or meal preparation, dressing, body care, transferring, ambulation, self-medication, supervision, shopping essentials, travel to medical services, and more.

Non-medical assistance for aging persons and those with disabilities living in their homes. Homecare workers do everything from housework (grocery shopping, laundry, dishes, etc.) to personal care (dressing, bathing, transferring, etc.). For all income levels, CCS brings affordable, personal care every day, sustaining those who are served with dignity in the home they cherish.

Around-the-clock care for serious illnesses and injuries. Conditions treated include behavioral health emergencies, brain & spine trauma, cerebrovascular emergencies, heart emergencies, orthopedic injuries, overdoses or poisonings, pregnancy complications, respiratory emergencies, and traumatic injuries.

Connects families with mental health providers who accept new patients, work with your insurance and fit your child’s treatment needs. The Referral Service is accessible to children and teens 17 and under living in Washington state. Provides behavioral health services integrated with medical care, including traditional counseling and psychiatric services, substance use disorder (SUD) counseling, support and wellness groups, and case management services to help patients access other community resources.

The Whatcom County Triage Center (WCTC) in Bellingham can accommodate up to 16 individuals at once who are experiencing a mental health crisis. Services include crisis stabilization, safety planning, and referrals for ongoing care. Individuals may self-refer or be referred by a community partner such as a behavioral health provider, hospital social worker, or medical provider. The facility can also accept drop-offs from law enforcement and emergency medical technicians as a diversion alternative to jail or the emergency room.

If your child is on Apple Health medical, has special health care needs, and is 3 years or older, you can use the Apple Health Provider One medical to buy diapers from eligible vendors. Limit 200 diapers per month. See link for more details.
