Teens Against Abuse - DVSAS

TAA is a regular meeting space for teens to gain accurate knowledge about domestic violence and sexual assault as well as healthy relationships and consent. Teen learn and work with their peer to understand how to support one another and engage with activism to prevent and end sexual and domestic violence.

MAD HOPE - Roosevelt Neighborhood Resource Center

Jail Health - Northwest Regional Council

Provides health services in the Whatcom County jail following the requirements set out by the National Commission on Correctional Health Care Standards. The most frequent health conditions affecting residents in the jail are addiction, mental illness, systemic infections, diabetes, hypertension, cardiac and gastrointestinal disorders, and traumatic injury.

Peer-to-Peer Class - NAMI of Whatcom County

This free class is an experiential learning program for people experiencing a mental health challenge who are interested in establishing and maintaining their wellness and recovery. Peer-to-Peer consists of eight two-hour units and is taught by a team of two trained teachers and a volunteer support person, all of whom are personally experienced at living well with mental illness.

Safety and Support Program - WCHD Harm Reduction Clinic

Safety and Support Program aims to minimize the negative consequences associated with substance use by providing practical strategies to decrease risk. Diseases like HIV or hepatitis C can be spread when people who use injection drugs share needles or other equipment. Provides linguistically and culturally appropriate health care services and health information to the farmworker community.
