A care package for those who are recently bereaved by a suicide. Included in this package are materials on grief after a suicide as well as comfort items found to be helpful by other survivors of suicide loss. These care packages are currently available for free to families living in Washington State.

Families often feel stress and distress with the challenges of changing family dynamics: the blending of households, co-parenting after divorce, adoption or fostering, loss of a family member, or caring for aging parents. Family counselors can help find solutions, facilitate discussion, and replace frustration with effective strategies.
Whatcom County Health and Community Services partners with community organizations and all seven Whatcom County school districts to coordinate and support prevention coalitions and community groups.
