Good Times Club - Christ the King Community Church Bellingham

Community-based social respite programs designed to provide reliable, scheduled respite to those caring for a friend or family member living with dementia. A typical five-hour program includes low-impact social time, light physical activities, art and other creative projects, group-oriented games, and lunch, snacks, and light refreshments throughout the day.

Buddy Break - Northside Community Church

A free Parents’ Day Out/respite program where kids with all types of special needs have fun while their caregivers get a break. Participants and their siblings have opportunities to make new friends, play games, do crafts, hear children’s stories, enjoy music, and more, while their parents get a break from their ongoing care-giving responsibilities. Home Care - Cascade Connections Main Office

In home care for adults and children with developmental disabilities, and individuals with traumatic brain injury (TBI). Services include personal hygiene assistance, meal planning and preparation, housework and laundry, shopping for groceries and clothes, medication management and supervision, escort to medical appointments, bed and mobility transfers, respite services, and more.

Medicaid Personal Care Parent Training - Dan Godwin Community Center

Six hours of continuing education are required to fulfill parental obligations in receiving Medicaid Personal Care funding to care for their family member. Community First Choice Personal Care - Apple Health

A state Medicaid program (formerly Medicaid Personal Care, or MPC) for people on Medicaid who need help with activities of daily living, including eating, dressing, bathing, or mobility. The program is administered by the Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA), even for people who are not eligible for DDA. Personal Care services are typically provided in your home.

Home Care - Catholic Housing Services

Non-medical assistance for aging persons and those with disabilities living in their homes. Homecare workers do everything from housework (grocery shopping, laundry, dishes, etc.) to personal care (dressing, bathing, transferring, etc.). For all income levels, CCS brings affordable, personal care every day, sustaining those who are served with dignity in the home they cherish.

Peer Support - The EMBERcenter

One-on-one parenting support with a peer provider of your choice. Available for mothers during pregnancy through the first three years after birth. Schedule sessions via text, phone, or video chat as often as you want. Each session is about 30 minutes. Peer support providers are available in English and Spanish.
