Low-cost repairs for power wheelchairs, bed lifts, hospital beds, walkers, scooters, and more. Addition of cosmetic or specialty parts to your equipment is also available, including but not limited to Joysticks for amputees, 'Sip-and-puffs', headrests, etc.

Community First Choice Personal Care - Apple Health

A state Medicaid program (formerly Medicaid Personal Care, or MPC) for people on Medicaid who need help with activities of daily living, including eating, dressing, bathing, or mobility. The program is administered by the Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA), even for people who are not eligible for DDA. Personal Care services are typically provided in your home.

Non-medical assistance for aging persons and those with disabilities living in their homes. Homecare workers do everything from housework (grocery shopping, laundry, dishes, etc.) to personal care (dressing, bathing, transferring, etc.). Geriatric Transition Program - Sunrise Health Homes and GTP Services

Helps adults with challenging behaviors transition from a hospital to a long term care facility that meets their needs. This program is for adults with serious mental illness, dementia, mood disorder or other neurological disorders. Eligible adults also have challenging behaviors which are a barrier to hospital discharge OR their long term care facility placement is at risk due to challenging behaviors.

Senior Community Meals in Ferndale - Ferndale Senior Center

Meals are offered on a donation-only basis to adults age 60+ (suggested donation $5.00). Others will be charged the full cost of the meal ($8.50). Senior Center membership not required to participate in the meal program. Frozen to-go meals available Tuesdays, 11:30 AM - 12:00 PM.

Meals on Wheels and More - Bellingham Senior Activity Center

Delivers up to 7 nutritionally balanced meals per week to homebound seniors throughout Whatcom County. Meals are provided on a donation-only basis, no eligible senior is turned away due to inability to contribute. Eligible participants must be age 60 or older, homebound, and have difficulty shopping for/and or safely preparing nutritious meals.
