Provides assistance to people who meet requirements for disability. SSDI pays benefits to you and certain family members if you are “insured.” This means that you worked long enough – and recently enough - and paid Social Security taxes on your earnings.

Provides access to essential needs items and potential rental assistance for low-income individuals who are unable to work for at least 90 days due to a physical and/or mental incapacity.
A monthly check that replaces part of your income when you reduce your hours or stop working altogether. It may not replace all your income so it's best to identify other ways to pay for your monthly expenses as you age.

Helps eligible refugees and other humanitarian immigrants by providing cash assistance for up to eight months from their arrival date in the United States (or from the date of their immigration status for asylees or victims of trafficking). RCA is for eligible people who do not have minor children.

Health care coverage and Cash Assistance Program for individuals who are age 65 and over, blind or disabled who meet income and resource requirements. Cash assistance and a referral to the Housing and Essential Needs program available to eligible individuals who are determined likely to meet Supplemental Security Income disability criteria based on an impairment(s) expected to last at least 12 consecutive months. This program provides maximum monthly cash grant of $450 for a single individual or $570 for a married couple.
A state-funded program that provides women who are low-income and pregnant and who are not eligible for Temporary Assistance for Needy Families or State Family Assistance with cash assistance and a referral to the HEN program.
Benefits paid to widows, widowers, and dependents of eligible workers. This benefit is particularly important for young families with children. You and your family could be eligible for benefits based on the earnings of a worker who died. The deceased person must have worked long enough to qualify for benefits.

Provides temporary cash assistance for families in need. Some families participate in the WorkFirst Program which helps participants find and keep jobs. Persons who are eligible may also qualify for Diversion Cash Assistance, which can help with living expenses when a family needs short term assistance and meets program requirements.

State benefits stolen by electronic fraud from EBT cards after July 1, 2024, can be replaced by the state. Contact your agency caseworker to submit your replacement request.
Additional housing or utility cash benefit for individuals and families already in the TANF, SFA, or RCA programs. Program intent is to keep people in housing, prevent utility disconnection, or get clients into housing.
