Can assist with basic needs such as food, clothing, hygiene supplies and more. Families who would like to visit the clothing closet, which includes clothing for both kids and adults, should call to make an appointment.

Resources include computer and phone access, notary, hygiene and health supplies, clothes, books, toys, household items, specialized intake support such as SNAP benefits, and more. The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, or SNAP, called Basic Food in Washington, helps people with low incomes make ends meet by providing monthly benefits to buy food.
Offers older adults the opportunity to connect with each other while enjoying a delicious, nutritionally balanced meal. Meals provided on a donation only basis for adults age 60 and over, as well as their spouses and caregivers.
State benefits stolen by electronic fraud from EBT cards after July 1, 2024, can be replaced by the state. Contact your agency caseworker to submit your replacement request.
Provides free food in Bellingham and Whatcom County. There are no income, address, or ID requirements.
Connects people with community resources to help meet basic needs such as food and housing.

In an effort to ensure that all children have access to food during the weekend the Blaine Food Bank is proud to partner with Wild Bird Charity and the Blaine School District to provide the food for three meals a day, as well as snacks, each weekend for children in the Blaine community who face hunger. Meals served Monday through Friday in a variety of ways: Sit & Sup congregate meal, hot to-go meals, frozen meals, and delivery Senior Mobile Meals. $6 for fresh meals, $5 for frozen.
Everyone is invited to the free monthly community meal hosted at Our Savior Lutheran Church on the third Sunday of every month from 5:00 - 6:30 PM. There is no meal in December, as well as in June, July, and August.
Provides food to anyone in need on the first Friday of each month. Located behind the Social Services building.
Family support centers that link school families with local resources and human services addressing the needs of the whole child in order to promote student success. All families are welcome to visit the site nearest to them (Shuksan Middle School or Carl Cozier Elementary School).

Client choice model where people can come and choose their own food items that best fit their needs.
Provides food to residents living within the Lynden School District zone. Bring proof of address on your first visit (a piece of mail, utility bill, rent receipt, etc.).
Provides benefits to legal immigrants who are not eligible for the federal Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), called Basic Food in Washington, solely because of immigration status. Households that include a person eligible for FAP receive the same amount of food benefits they would receive for this person if they were eligible for SNAP.
Meals are offered on a donation-only basis to adults age 60+ (suggested donation $5.00). Others will be charged the full cost of the meal ($8.50). Meals are also available to-go. Senior Center membership not required to participate in the meal program.
Assists in meeting the food needs for low-income elementary school students in the Mount Baker School District over Winter and Spring breaks. Students who participate in the program are provided with a supply of kid-friendly, easy-to-prepare snacks and meals. For more information, or to get your child involved in this program, please contact your school’s Family Resource Coordinator.
There are two primary ways to receive help: request volunteers to help with simple work, or submit a request for help/financial assistance which will be shared with church partners. There are no guarantees for assistance, and it can take some time (often 3-8 weeks) to arrange. Fill out the "Get Help" form online to request assistance.

A community refrigerator packed with free nutritious food that breaks down barriers to food access. Expect to find the Freedge packed throughout the week with individual portions of surplus food from local restaurants, garden produce, and shelf stable pantry items.
Provides limited financial assistance vouchers for people in need living in Whatcom County. Helps pay for gasoline, food, utilities, phone bills, bus passes, and ID and driver's licenses. Amounts range from $50 to $200. Available only once every twelve months.

Satellite location of the Bellingham Food Bank. Reserve in advance or on-site and select from four types of boxes: Basic, Latin American, Gluten Free, or Vegan.
Prepares and serves hot, home cooked meals for the community. Currently providing lunch every Wednesday and Thursday at Faith Lutheran Church.
