Eviction prevention rental assistance program serving low-income Whatcom County households who are at risk of becoming homeless. Services include housing-focused case management and temporary rent subsidies to help households maintain housing and avoid homelessness. Call for updates on screening and scheduling.
Provides housing opportunities for Nooksack Tribal community. Services include Low Rent Program, programs leading to eventual homeownership, and waiting list of Tribal members in need of affordable housing. Nooksack Housing also helps Tribal members connect with other state and federal housing services, including the Section 184 Home Loan Program, Down Payment Assistance, as well as other administrative assistance.

You can join a Medicare drug plan in addition to Original Medicare (Parts A and B), or you get it by joining a Medicare Advantage Plan with drug coverage (Part C). Plans that offer Medicare drug coverage are run by private insurance companies that follow rules set by Medicare.

This program is for young people, ages 18-24, who are moving out of unstable situations that resulted in them being temporarily homeless. This program offers lease support, housing financial assistance, deposit, and ongoing skill building in collaboration with Housing Case Managers. Note: Rapid Rehousing is accessed through a main application process and is NOT first come, first served.

Financial Assistance
Washington residents who do not have prescription drug insurance coverage, or have limited coverage, can enroll in the ArrayRx Discount Card program to purchase their medications at a discounted price. The card will give you discounts on prescription drugs not covered by your insurance plan, can be used by Medicare beneficiaries who do not have Part D coverage, or provide prescription discounts for those on high deductible plans.

There are two primary ways to receive help: request volunteers to help with simple work, or submit a request for help/financial assistance which will be shared with church partners. There are no guarantees for assistance, and it can take some time (often 3-8 weeks) to arrange. Fill out the "Get Help" form online to request assistance.
