Shelter will open when severe cold weather forecasts meet opening criteria. When activated, the shelter will be open from 4:00 PM to 9:00 AM, with check-in from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and lights out from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Space is available on a first-come, first-served basis. The space can hold approximately 70 people, with limited storage space for personal belongings. Service, emotional support, and therapy animals are welcome.
People with disabilities or access and functional needs may need to take additional steps to prepare for emergencies. CFI can teach individuals how to put together an emergency preparedness plan.
Emergency shelter open during severe weather events to provide individuals and families in need with a safe place to sleep, warm food, and referrals to community resources whenever possible. Call or check website to verify open status.
