Tools include LinkedIN Learning for Library (self-paced courses on a wide variety of topics), Mango Languages (tools to learn 70+ languages, including courses for ESL learners), and Northstar Digital Literacy (everyday computer skills).

Free introductory courses for people who have no computer experience or who need a little extra training. Learn the basics of how to operate a computer, including typing (keyboarding), internet and email. Later, take classes in Microsoft Word and Excel to learn to create simple spreadsheets and documents like a resume. Online job search classes and special computer classes for non-native English speakers also offered.
Need help with technology questions or with using the Library’s electronic resources? Help is available by phone, by email, in person, or with one-on-one assistance during a Tech Basics Coaching session. Coaching sessions take place every Wednesday afternoon at the Central Library. Check the event calendar for upcoming sessions, and call to register.
