Provides families with information and referrals to licensed child care facilities and supports child care providers through coaching, technical assistance, behavioral consultation, and professional development opportunities.
Early childhood preschool programs provide a language-based curriculum to students ages 3-4 who have been identified with developmental delays and qualify for special education services. Programs provide direct, integrated, and/or consultative services to students with mild to moderate disabilities in general education. Contact your school district to apply.

Families with young children who are experiencing homelessness can get help finding child care at no cost to them for up to 12 months. Child care offers young children experiencing homelessness a safe place to play and learn, healthy food and a chance to make friends.

A free transitional kindergarten for students who are not in an early learning program and are scheduled to begin kindergarten the following school year. The district must prioritize families with the lowest incomes and children most in need of additional preparation to be successful in kindergarten. Students must be 4 years old prior to August 31 to be eligible for the current school year.
A variety of outdoor and academic programs that operate seasonally throughout the year. Activities include biking, climbing, swimming, hiking, snowboarding, and kayaking when seasonally appropriate.
