Supports young people ages 21 and under with vision loss by preparing them for successful futures by providing workshops, programs, and activities geared towards teaching age-appropriate skills of blindness, self-advocacy, orientation and mobility, and educational and career exploration.

A free series of classes designed to increase knowledge and skills in budgeting, credit, debt, landlord/tenant law and savings.
Support group where parents can work through their grief in an atmosphere of understanding and compassion. The non-denominational Support Group meets for eight consecutive weeks and includes a social worker, spiritual guidance counselor, and an interfaith minister.
Serves students experiencing homelessness. This program is designed to reduce isolation, maximize stability and maintain consistency for this population of children and youth. Contact the liaison in your school district for support.

A library card allows you to check out materials and access digital content. Through the Whatcom Libraries Collaborate program, your library card can be used for services at other libraries throughout the county.

Renew, replace or apply for a driver's license, ID card, or instruction permit; renew vehicle tabs or boat decals; get new license plates; report a vehicle sale or transfer of ownership; register a vehicle or boat; get a disabled parking placard or tabs; and more.
Provides Washington landlords with an incentive and added security to work with tenants receiving rental assistance. The program offers up to $1,000 and up to fourteen days’ rent loss to the landlord in reimbursement for some potentially required move-in upgrades, and up to $5,000 in qualifying damages caused by a tenant during tenancy.
Six hours of continuing education are required to fulfill parental obligations in receiving Medicaid Personal Care funding to care for their family member. Twice a year the Parent Coalition Program conducts trainings tailored to meet the needs of these families. Email [email protected] for more information.
Provides limited financial assistance vouchers for people in need living in Whatcom County. Helps pay for gasoline, food, utilities, phone bills, bus passes, and ID and driver's licenses. Amounts range from $50 to $200. Available only once every twelve months.

Provides ready-to-cook turkey dinners for families with limited financial resources living in Blaine, Birch Bay, Custer, and Point Roberts. Each basket is sized to the number of people in the family. Pre-registration is required, and typically takes place October through early November.
Supports pregnant and parenting families who find themselves lacking a healthy support network. Families can access mentors and holistic wrap-around services from the time of awareness of pregnancy to the child’s fifth birthday.
