Driver's Assistance - Treehouse
Increasing independence for Washington youth in foster care by providing reimbursement for Washington state ID, learner’s permit, driver’s license, driver’s education fees, driver's testing and practice sessions, roadside assistance and towing, motor vehicle registration and tabs, basic car repairs and maintenance, gas assistance while learning to drive, and auto insurance coverage.

Application process
To be referred for Treehouse services, youth must have an open dependency case, Shelter Care order or be in Extended Foster Care with DCYF, a WA tribal foster care system, or the Unaccompanied Refugee Minor (URM) program at the time of initial referral.
